We use rectangular shape bean bags, so you can sit on as well as laying on them. Empty cover, laying flat on the floor, is 39 inches by 55 inches.
Due to the lumpy nature of bean bags, it is not easy to calculate the assembled dimension, so approximately its width is 38” and its depth is around 21” and height is at 38”.
Bunk Beds
Bunk beds are excellent for children’s bedrooms, guest rooms, ski lodges, hostels, and other shared sleeping spaces. These great space savers are essentially two and occasionally three beds stacked, one on top of the other.
While people consider bunk beds the perfect solution for children’s bedrooms, they have become popular as space-saving solutions for adults.
Bed frames
Besides bunk beds, our other specialty is solid wood platform beds. A platform bed is an ordinary bed frame with a 'platform' upon which the mattress rests. A platform bed, therefore, removes the need for a box spring. Some platforms have slats, and some have boards.
Our platform beds use wood slats, allowing your mattress to breathe, keeping it fresh and mould free. A bunk bed is technically two platform beds, one on top of the other with pins to secure them.
Storage solution
Trundle beds are a piece that goes under a bed or bunk bed with other names, such as a roll-out bed or pull-out bed. They are often for guests or temporary sleeping arrangements.
The way the trundle bed works is different between designs. Most use wheels under the trundle to wheel it in and out for ease of use. Some models have folding legs, so you can unfold the legs and raise the trundle to save level as the main bed. Another design, or pop-up trundle bed, uses springs instead of legs.
